This blog is powered by Hugo using a minimal custom theme. Everyhing the site loads is fully self-hosted: no CDNs, no web fonts, no analytics, no trackers, no cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is the light/dark preference of the theme toggle, in localStorage.

Third-party components#

asciinema player 3.8.0, under the Apache License 2.0, bundled and served from this domain. Terminal recordings are plain .cast files fetched from here when you press play.

Mermaid, under the MIT license, used at build time only: diagrams are rendered to SVG before publishing, so no diagram JavaScript reaches your browser.

On AI usage for this blog#

Posts (content texts) are written by me. However, I use LLMs e.g. for research, talking through the structure, review, proofreading, and creating supplementary material like mermaid diagrams or visualizations. The Hugo theme was written with substantial LLM assistance.

Anything an LLM told me during research, I checked before it went into a post. Every command and configuration shown was tested on a real system.
